Inuvialuit

Inuvialuit was published for ten years (1975 to 1985) by the Committee for Original Peoples' Entitlement (COPE). This magazine supplied information on matters of concern to communities in the Northwest Territories and was distributed free to the Inuvialuit Nunangat population of the western Arctic.

This entry from An Annotated Bibliography of Canadian Inuit Literature references memories by Felix Nuyaviak (Gedalof p. 78), a hunter, whaler and popular story teller who lived in Tuktoyaktuk.

To see a photo of Felix Nuyaviak, view the Inuvialuit Cultural Centre Digital Library (view) photograph entitled "A photo of Raddie Kawikchuk and Felix Nuyaviak from Tuktoyaktuk sitting together with a crowd of people around them."
