The editors chose the name Nipatur̂uq meaning &quot;to have a loud voice,&quot; in Uummarmiutun, a dialect of Inuvialuktun spoken in Inuvik and Aklavik, Northwest Territories. Each issue has a distinctive title and a theme. Included are voices of young people and elders from across the Beaufort Delta. The first issues have focused on what being Inuvialuit means to youth, mental health issues and climate change.]]></dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[Under the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA), each Inuvialuit community, including Aklavik, Inuvik, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, Tuktoyaktuk, and Ulukhaktok has a Community Corporation which is made up of six elected Directors and one elected Chair. The Chairs of each Community Corporation, together with the Chair and CEO of IRC, form the IRC Board of Directors. Through these corporations, eligible Inuvialuit beneficiary members directly control Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) and its subsidiaries. The Inuvialuit Corporate Group (ICG) newsletter reports on the board meetings (resolutions, motions and laws),member updates, economic news, human resources updates that take place throughout the year. The newsletter is online and print copies are mailed to all Inuvialuit beneficiary households.]]></dcterms:abstract>
