Abstract

The Inuit Tapirisat of Canada (ITC) created this news magazine, when they became a national Inuit organization, to provide Inuit communities with information about the events and programs of ITC and articles and discussion on subjects of interest to Inuit. Inuit Today has published short fiction including legends, poetry and cartoons. Issues stopped being published when funds from the Canadian federal Ministry of Indian and Northern Affairs were cut.
