Abstract
This magazine was the first ever published by the Inuit Cultural Institute, created to inform Inuit of the cultural issues that are relevant to them. The magazine contains stories of travel and interviews with elders. Readers were encouraged to send letters and express opinions. Inuktitut Roman orthography was added to the 1977 edition and subsequent issues. The cover title for the 1976/77 issue was Ayurnarmat. In 1980-1981, the title was Arjungnagimmat.
