This is the local paper for the Beaufort-Mackenzie Delta region of the Northwest Territories. Communities covered by the Inuvik Drum include Inuvik, Aklavik [Akłarvik], Fort McPherson [Teet'lit Zheh], Arctic Red River [Tsiigehtchic], Paulatuk [Paulatuuq], Tuktoyaktuk [Tuktuyaaqtuuq], Sachs Harbour [Ikahuak] and Holman Island [Ulukhaktok]. The newspaper contains editorials, letters to the editor, regular local columnists, business and community news and special feature sections on education, law, construction and online shopping. Published weekly on Thursdays.
