Abstract

Created in 1975, this Nunavik radio and television network  records and   broadcasts in Inuktitut. Taqramiut Nipingat Inc. (TNI), or "Voice of the North", has as its mission "to promote by communication means the culture and the image of Inuit, by Inuit, to the Inuit and to the national and international scenes." (TNI website, December 2001).
